Meet Sami
Permit and Safety Coordinator
Sami grew up in Colorado and at 17, she left to get a degree in Sustainable Community Planning from NAU in Flagstaff. Once there, she studied ecology and glaciology in Patagonia, Chile for a while. Afterward she spent the next four years working in ski shops all along the west coast, probably disappointing her Contractor parents (sorry mom) in the process. Sami has skied 130+ days every season, became a raft guide and joined Downstream. “These boys are the best – I’m a lucky gal.”
